Liquid Brand Summit 2011: Transformation


The Liquid Brand Summit is an exclusive one-day event focused on discussing relevant and timely topics about branding and marketing – with a special emphasis on technology brands. Unlike other conferences, the Brand Summit involves intimate round table discussions that are highly participatory and are moderated by respected high level brand and marketing executives from some of the world’s best known brands.

Why should you attend?

The objective of the summit is to explore how marketers are addressing the most important challenges faced by brands in a marketing landscape that is constantly changing and evolving. In other words, how do brands transform themselves and their relationships with a wide variety of audiences in order to stay relevant and meaningful?

Branding is particularly challenging in an age defined by economic upheaval, mergers and acquisitions, technology convergence, coopetition strategies, social media transparency, channel fragmentation, and audience diversification.

This event will give attendees a chance to discuss topics that are particularly important to them with peers and experts. In the process, participants will learn valuable lessons from the experiences of others, and will walk away not only better prepared to face their branding and marketing challenges, but also inspired and refreshed.

What is the format of the discussions?

The Summit consists of round table sessions facilitated by high level executives with substantial real-life experience in the topic they will be managing. There will be a maximum of ten topics offered during the summit, and you will be able to participate in two sessions (one in the morning, and one in the afternoon). The round table sessions will be followed by a panel discussion involving all of the session leaders, giving all summit participants an opportunity to get first-hand access to the entire line up of experts – and have the chance to ask questions about any of the topics. At the end we will summarize the findings and publish a detailed report that will be distributed to all attendees. We are currently in the process of finalizing the topics and the session leaders, and will make an announcement soon. Please sign up for updates and you will be automatically notified.

What else can you expect?

Besides the topic discussions, we will host breakfast, lunch and a cocktail hour where participants will have the unique opportunity to mingle with some of the brightest and most successful marketers in the business – making the Brand Summit not just an amazing learning opportunity, but also one of the best networking events in Silicon Valley. Honestly, this alone is worth the price of entry!

Will there be any speaker presentations?

In addition to the discussions, there will be a special presentation by Marty Neumeier, noted author and speaker (and Director of Transformation at Liquid Agency). He will speak on the subject of Transformation, the influence of design thinking, and the imperative towards innovation. As a conclusion to the day we will have a special surprise guest appearance (we will let you know about this as we get closer to the date...but we promise you will like it!).

What are some of the details?

The Brand Summit will be held at the luxurious Fours Seasons Hotel in Palo Alto on March 1, 2011. Please clear your calendar, and set aside the day for this exceptional event – it will be worth it!!!

Please be aware that seating is limited. In order to ensure the intimacy of the discussions and the exclusivity of the event, we will not accept over 100 participants. We will do our best to save spots for those clients interested in attending, but please be aware that we may not be able to accommodate everyone, so we suggest that you register as soon as you can after we open up the registration site.
